Missing football journalist Kevin McCarra found safe in France

Kevin McCarra had been missing since Thursday night.
Scottish sports journalist Kevin McCarra who had gone missing in Avignon, France, while visiting the country to watch games at Euro 2016 has turned up safe and well.
Mr McCarra had not been seen since Thursday evening after coming out of the Hotel Mignon at 6.40pm and then wandering neighbouring streets before his last sighting on CCTV at 7.06pm.
His wife Susan Stewart, who was in France with him, issued pleas on Twitter for any information regarding his whereabouts, stating that they had originally planned to take in the Iceland Hungary game at the Stade Velodrome on Saturday evening.
But last night it emerged that the journalist, former chief football correspondent for the Guardian newspaper, had been located and was safe and well.
