Three people have been charged and are due in court over the death of a man at a local beauty spot.
A 19-year-old woman and two men, both aged 23, are due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court in connection with the death of Steven Donaldson.
Police revealed yesterday that three people had been arrested over his death and have since confirmed they have all now been charged.
They will remain in custody ahead of their court appearance on Monday.
Two members of the public found the 27-year-old’s body in the car park at Kinnordy Nature Reserve near Kirriemuir, Angus, at 5am on June 7.
Officers will continue their investigations in the area where his body was discovered.
Detective Superintendent James Smith, the senior officer on the investigation said: “I would again like to thank all those who have provided information and assistance in connection with this inquiry so far.
“Our investigation is still ongoing and I would encourage anyone with information they think could assist us, to please contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
