A former Victorian school building which was transformed into flats has been nominated for a top award.
The category B listed Parkview building, which was previously a primary school on Blackness Road close to Victoria Park, has been shortlisted for a Saltire Society National Design Award.
A ceremony celebrating the 81st Saltire housing design awards will take place later this month in Edinburgh.
Judging panel guest chairman Allan Little said: “I have been struck by how much effort is being made in the building of new houses in Scotland to blend contemporary technologies, materials and styles with the existing character of the environment, while creating houses that meet contemporary needs.”
Parkview has won a number of awards since being redeveloped. It was recognised at the end of last year at a reception in Dundee City Council chambers for its regeneration by the Dundee Civic Trust.
In 2016, it picked up the Whiteburn Projects Scottish Home Award for a small building.
