Dundee man, 20, repeatedly punched victim at city bar

William Burns, of Longtown Place, admitted a charge of assault at a city bar.

Burns pleaded guilty to assaulting Thomas McGregor by repeatedly punching him on the face at Harlequins Bar, Albert Street, on September 17.

Sentence on Burns was deferred until February 9.

The 20-year-old was granted bail by Sheriff John Rafferty in the meantime.
