Jay Salzar, 38, a prisoner at Perth, was placed on a six-month curfew at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Salzar admitted that between December 30 last year and January 1 this year, he broke into a residential property in Brechin Road, Kirriemuir, and stole a quantity of jewellery, a laptop, watches, gaming consoles and mobile phones, while he was on bail.
He further admitted breaking into a residential property at Lilybank, Kirriemuir, and stealing a quantity of jewellery, jewellery boxes, watches and a mobile phone, on January 2 — again while he was on bail.
Salzar was placed on a restriction of liberty order confining him to his home address between 7pm-7am daily, and a two-year supervision order.
