Rock legends Genesis have cancelled their gig at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Friday after band members tested positive for Covid-19.
The group, who are touring for the first time in 14 years, performed at the Scottish venue on Thursday night to thousands of fans.
But they took to social media on Friday afternoon to announce that their second night at the Hydro has been called off.
In a statement, Genesis posted: “Following guidance and advice from the government, it is with huge regret that the final four shows of Genesis’ Last Domino? tour… have had to be postponed due to positive Covid-19 tests within the band.

“We are working to reschedule them as soon as possible and will announce the new dates through our website and social media channels as soon as possible.
“All tickets will remain valid and ticket holders will be contacted by their ticket providers.
“This is a hugely frustrating development for the band who are devastated with this unlucky turn of events.
“They hate having to take these steps but the safety of the audience and touring crew has to take priority.
“They look forward to seeing you upon their return.”
‘It’ll be worth the wait’
Fans have told of their disappointment at the news but praised the band’s shows so far.
One posted: “Last night’s show at the @TheSSEHydro was fantastic, the band all looked well, although Tony was first to get off stage whilst Phil was still sorting out his walking stick.
“No band front-of-stage bow. God I hope everyone is safe…”
Another wrote: “Hope they recover soon. Safety has to come first. We saw you in Manchester, it will be worth the wait for those with tickets.”
One other replied: “Health must be the focus and am grateful for the amazing tour-opening, Birmingham gig. Be safe. Get well.
“We’ll see you at the rescheduled show and raise a glass to you here in Glasgow this evening.”
The band – Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins – have been joined on their tour by Collins’ son Nic on drums and long-time lead guitar and bass player Daryl Stuermer.
