A Perth football club is taking to the kitchen every day during the school holidays to provide healthy meals for pupils.
Staff from Jeanfield Swifts will be at the club’s Riverside Stadium every weekday throughout the seven weeks of school holidays, cooking up meals for youngsters.
The East of Scotland Football League club will also be hosting regular football sessions at the North Muirton ground, led by former St Johnstone midfielder Patrick Cregg, now at Montrose.
A spokesperson said: “This summer Jeanfield Swifts are pleased to host a summer lunch club for families in our local community.
“We’ll serve a healthy and nutritious meal every weekday during the holidays and children of all ages are welcome to join in with football and other fun activities.
“As well as enjoying a tasty lunch, children are very welcome to join in some fun football games with ex-pro Patrick Cregg.”
Anyone who’d like to attend should contact the club on 01738 658764.
