Both lanes of the A90 are now clear of debris after a crash between a tractor and a BMW earlier this morning.
Traffic backed up on the road during rush hour after the accident one mile north of the Angus village of Tealing, heading northbound.
All lanes were restricted from 7.25am as teams worked to clear debris from the road.
An ambulance was called but nobody was thought to be seriously injured.
A police spokeswoman said: “We received a report at 7.25am of a collision involving a tractor and a BMW.”
Traffic Scotland tweeted to let commuters know the road had been cleared shortly before 9am.
