Three males have been charged in connection with a series of car thefts in Carnoustie.
The males, aged 23, 21 and 15, have been arrested and charged in connection with a total of six thefts and attempted thefts from cars in Carnoustie in the early hours of Monday November 4.
They are due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court today.
A police statement said: “A fourth male aged 16 was also arrested but is receiving medical treatment, and will be dealt with accordingly in due course. The 21 year old has also been charged with a number of driving offences.
“All of the cars which were targeted were unlocked, and we would like to remind everyone to please ensure your cars and vans are fully secured overnight.”
