An audacious thief has made off with hundreds of pounds of luxury items after sneaking in to a Forfar house.
Police Scotland is appealing for information about a “sneak-in theft” from a property in Manor Street, between 12am-5am on Sunday 3rd November.
The designer gear stolen included a teal Jack Wolkskin gents parka jacket, a Louis Vuitton purse, a Louis Vuitton wallet, a ladies Jack Wolfskin parka jacket, a Mulberry make up bag and a Miami Dolphins knitted bobble hat.
The thief, or thieves, also made off with a collection of coins and a quantity of cash.
Police believe the valuable items may have been offered for sale around the area.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The location of the property is close to a local nightclub, and there would have been a number of Saturday night revellers in the area in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, particularly if you have been offered any of the stolen items for sale, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.
“Also, information can be given 100% anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/29678/19,” he added.
