It was the big switch-on on Sunday night as revellers in Carnoustie and Monifieth came out to enjoy local Christmas lights displays.
In Monifieth there was some festive-themed entertainment from the Tolmie Highland Dance School.
In Carnoustie there was entertainment for the crowds as they waited for Santa’s arrival, with girls from the Angus Centre for Performing Arts putting on a display.
