A cyclist was attacked by a man with white hair and a beard in Kirriemuir.
The incident occurred near the Old Quarry on Brechin Road just before 1pm on Sunday.
The cyclist was attacked by a man who is described as being around 60-years-old, about 6ft in height and with white hair and a beard.
He was wearing a white jumper with a blue logo on it and had a small Border Collie puppy with him at the time.
Police Scotland said there were no other eye witnesses present at the time but other people using the paths that day may recognise the description of the man.
