Police are seeking a man following the theft of two bowls from a sports club in Angus.
Officers say the items were taken from the Park View Bowling Club in Brechin on Boxing Day at about 6.20pm.
They were taken from a wooden storage shed.
The items are said to be a pair of Taylor junior bowls stamped with the letters “PVBC”.
Police are seeking a white man of medium build with short dark hair in connection with the break-in. He was wearing a light-coloured North Face jacket, dark jogging bottoms and bright trainers.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “If you saw someone matching this description in the area around that time, or if you have been offered this set of bowls for sale, please let us know.
“If you have any information that could assist us, please call 101 or speak with any police officer. Also, information can be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/35024/19.”
