A 36-year-old man has made a private court appearance in connection with an alleged Angus housebreaking.
Callum Ogilvie, of Forfar, appeared from custody before Sheriff Gregor Murray at Forfar on a petition alleging housebreaking with intent to steal.
He also faces drugs possession and breach of the peace charges.
Ogilvie made no plea and was committed for further examination.
He was released on bail with a further court appearance yet to be scheduled.
The appearance is understood to relate to an alleged incident in Princes Street, Monifieth in the early hours of January 3.
