The new owner of Monifieth’s Seaway chippie has said taking over the business is a dream come true.
Callan Bruce, 35, bought the business from Joe and Bob Giacchetto after the 55-year-old twins retired following 35 years there.
Video of the Giacchetto twins on their final day is above this article.
Callan’s career as a chef has included spells at the Picture House in Errol and, latterly, Royal Montrose Golf Club.
“As a family the Seaway has been our local chip shop for years,” he said.
“I’m passionate about my food and we aim to keep producing the best fish suppers in Angus.”
