A near 70-strong field will battle it out for honours in the 2019 Angus Sports Personality of the Year awards.
The close of nominations saw a total of 68 individuals, teams and clubs nominated across the nine categories in the Angus Alive scheme.
An independent selection panel will convene next week to draw up the shortlist and winners, with Forfar’s Reid Hall set to once again host the glittering awards ceremony on March 13.
International bowler Darren Burnett was the 2018 Sports Personality of the Year.
