A thief has made off with a large collection of games consoles after forcing a door in Montrose.
Police Scotland is appealing for information about a theft by housebreaking at a property in New Wynd, Montrose, between 9:20am on Monday, January 20 and 5:45pm on Tuesday, January 21.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Entry was gained by forcing a door, and a number of games consoles and electrical items were stolen.
“These included an Xbox One, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable (PSP), a PS Vita, associated games for the consoles, and a Numark NDX800 CD mixing desk.”
The officer said people should get in contact with them if they believe they have been offered any of the items for sale.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer,” he added.
