A 61-year-old Angus woman has admitted growing cannabis at her rural home.
Patricia Montgomery, of Rainbow Cottage, Guynd Home Farm, near Arbroath, appeared before Sheriff Derek Reekie at Forfar where she admitted producing the class B drug on February 8 last year.
The court heard the accused has a number of health issues and the substance was grown for personal use.
Further investigation is to be carried out into the value of the plants which were found after the court heard police had valued them at between £800 and £2,500.
Montgomery will return to court for sentencing next month.
