Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman fell from a moving vehicle in Montrose.
The female fell from a blue Vauxhall Corsa and landed in the road on William Phillips Drive at 3.35pm on Wednesday.
She suffered minor injuries as a result.
Police say she was given assistance by an older gentleman who was in the company of three young children.
It is also thought that there were other members of the public in the immediate area at the time as well.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “If you witnessed all or part of this incident, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.
“Also, information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident number 2335 of 12th February.”
