Three people have been taken to hospital today after a two-vehicle crash at a junction in Angus.
Four people were injured following the incident which happened just after 10am on the A935 Brechin to Montrose Road at Roadside Cottage.
Firefighters had to cut two people free from the wreckage using bolt cutters and the road was blocked in both directions.
One other person declined to go to hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.
Paramedics have still to report on the condition of the three being treated.
Police said the injuries included a leg injury, a neck injury and a hip injury.
