A gang of superheroes have become a web hit after taking to the streets of Tayside to cheer up stuck-at-home kids.
Spider-Man, Iron Man, Batman, Hulk and Captain America have been bringing joy to communities in Dundee and Arbroath during the coronavirus lockdown.
Scott Watson, 32, from Arbroath, decided to dress up as the superhero Spider-Man while walking his dog Luna on his daily exercise in the town.
Mr Watson, who is a support worker, was overwhelmed by the response on social media and decided to start up a Facebook page for Arbroath’s Spider-Man.
The page lets people know where he will be so they can cheer him on from their doorsteps and windows.
He said: “I just wanted to bring some joy to the local children. My wife Jacqueline and I have three kids at home ourselves so we know how hard it is for them not to see their friends or even leave their houses.
“I already had the costume at home and thought it would be a great idea to bring some joy to the community while getting some exercise and walking our dog Luna.”
The page currently has almost 700 likes and has reached over 5,000 people.
Mr Watson added: “It has been so much fun and had a much bigger reaction than we ever thought it would have.
“We have had so many messages from people and have sent lots of videos to them saying hello to their children or wishing them a happy birthday.
“The response from the children and their parents has been fantastic.”
A Dundee Superheroes Facebook page has also been set up with a group of joggers taking to the streets for their daily run in various guises.
Spider-Man, Iron Man, Batman, Hulk and Captain America have all been seen after the page was initially set up by Dylan McConnell to raise money for Barnardos.
Dave Roper has also been dressing up as the amazing Spider-Man on the streets of Dunfermline and there are now calls for all the superheroes to race together once the crisis is over.
