Firefighters have been battling a blaze in a remote area of Angus.
Crews were called to the fire at a smallholding in the Duntrune area at around 5.45pm on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman said the incident involved a refuse pile made up of tightly-packed plastic.
It has resulted in plumes of black smoke billowing over the area as firefighters continue to bring the blaze under control.
The fire service said there was no risk to any buildings.
