A teenager has been charged over an alleged attempt to steal from a property in Forfar.
Police Scotland confirmed the 16-year-old was arrested in connection with an incident at a property in the town’s Sparrowcroft just after 10pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said a full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
In a separate incident, police investigating the theft of tools from a storage container on an Angus building site have said they want to trace three men in a car seen in the area.
The Makita chop saw and Hilti laser level were stolen after thieves forced open the locked container at the site in Wellbank Mews, Wellbank.
Police said three men in a white, five-door Renault Clio with missing wheel trims were seen nearby.
They were all wearing black hoodies or sweatshirts
