A burst water pipe has caused disruption to supply to almost 50 Angus homes.
Engineers were alerted to the burst pipe just outside of Kirkton of Monikie at around 3pm this afternoon.
It is understood approximately 48 homes in the area may be experiencing low water pressure or an interruption to supply.
Scottish Water have said they hope to have the repair completed by 7pm amid fears from residents that the lack of water could leave them vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their understanding while we working resolve this issue.”
