Half a dozen Carnoustie households are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
The Collier Street neighbours netted the windfall when DD7 7AJ was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Monday.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “What a great way to start the month. Congratulations to our winners.”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
The latest draw was promoted by Oxfam, which has received over £9.6 million in funding from the players.
Local charities can next apply for funding in August.
