Large queues have formed outside a fast food restaurant in Angus on the day of its reopening.
Vehicles tailed back outside the McDonald’s drive-through in Monifieth on Tuesday.
Customers were welcomed back to the branch from 11am after lockdown forced a closure of more than two months.
Branches in Forfar, Arbroath, Perth, Kirckaldy, Glenrothes and Dunfermline also welcomed back customers.
Queues have also been reported outside branches in the kingdom.
The outlets were among 168 drive-throughs across the UK which to reopen.
Every drive-through in Scotland is expected to be back up-and-running between Tuesday and Thursday.
McDonald’s said it will reveal the locations of reopening restaurants on the morning they open their doors to help manage demand, and is working with local authorities and the police over openings.
