Forfar bypass drivers are to face a week-long contraflow system under a £310,000 resurfacing project.
Work will get underway on Monday to repair the southbound surface of the dual carriageway near Forfar Loch.
The project will repair a section of the road between Garth Farm and Forfar Loch and see a contraflow put in place between the Kirriemuir and Glamis junctions.
Work will get underway from 7.30pm on Monday and is expected to be complete by 6.30am on Saturday July 4.
Bear Scotland said local access to properties will be maintained.
Signed diversion routes will also be in place for traffic wishing to use the southbound A929 Kirriemuir junction off-slip and on-slip roads.
