Concerns have been raised about staffing at a rural children’s home after nine employees left within a year.
Craig of Garvock care home, near St Cyrus, houses just three children but lost a number of staff, including the manager, in the month leading up to an inspection.
A Care Inspectorate report, following a visit to the Care Visions home in February, said staffing at the home was weak, which contributed to “unsettled behaviour within the house”.
The report added: “It was clear that the frequent introduction of new staff had been difficult for core staff and young people.
“The quality of care planning for one young person had been adversely affected by not having consistent key worker input.”
The report marked the home as “adequate” in all other criteria.
A Care Visions Group spokeswoman said: “Senior managers have worked closely with staff to ensure all improvements have been made.”
