Martin Urquhart was caught at his home on an Auchterarder estate in early May when police found him to be almost four times the legal limit.
In the second offence he was more than three times the limit at Dundee police HQ.
The 50-year-old, of Garden Cottage, Fordoun Estate, Auchterarder was not present at Forfar Sheriff Court when his case called before Sheriff Gregor Murray.
He admitted driving with excess alcohol at his home address on May 5 and failing to co-operate with a preliminary breath test. Urquhart’s reading was 85 microgrammes against a legal limit of 22.
He also pleaded guilty to driving with an alcohol count of 72mics on May 21.
The court was told Urquhart is currently working offshore and he was ordered to appear personally on August 11.
