A woman has been taken to Ninewells Hospital after a crash on the A90 near Brechin.
The road has now reopened after the road traffic incident on Sunday morning.
Police officers had closed the A90 at the Brechin bypass at around 11am as they worked at the scene.
Both lanes re-opened to traffic at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers received report of a road traffic incident on the A90 southbound at the Brechin bypass around 11am on Sunday, 2 August, 2020.
“A woman has been taken to Ninewells Hospital by ambulance for treatment and officers remain at the scene.”
Drivers faced delays but the traffic has now begun to clear.
