Police are investigating after a driver made off after striking a man in an Angus town.
A Volkswagen hit him as he loaded materials out of an HGV on Broomfield Industrial Estate in Montrose between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday, August 5.
The car, thought to be a golf, is said to have been driven by an older woman. She did not stop following the incident.
The vehicle struck the man’s leg. He avoided serious injury.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “The driver of the car, described as an older woman, did not stop and drove off.
“We are checking CCTV at businesses in the area, but would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time and may have seen this car, or have dashcam footage of it.
