Staff from Davidsons Chemists in Brechin High Street have taken on a 500-mile challenge this month in support of charity partner, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland has been losing £500,000 of income per month during lockdown following the closure of their shops and postponement of all fundraising events.
The Brechin team of ten have already passed their initial £1,000 target and have set up a bit of healthy competition with a ‘top walkers’ leaderboard to keep a tally as they clock up the miles.
Branch manager Emma McElhinney said: “We have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from our friends, family and the wider community already.”
