Both the Old Pier shed and station will be open to members of the public, and former crew members from the 1970s and 1980s have been invited. The fundraising ladies are hosting a Songs of the Sea event with local talent Ray Moore on May 6 in the town’s Royal British Legion, 7.30pm for 8pm. Tickets including cheese and wine are priced £10 and are available from Karen Davidson on 07825 337145. The annual “welly walk” on May 8 takes place from the station to Cowie and back at 2pm.
