An Angus OAP has been hospitalised after a crash which closed a busy street for around two hours.
The incident, involving a van and a car, happened on Arbroath’s Keptie Road around 1.20pm on Wednesday.
The full extent of the 75-year-old’s injuries are not known at this stage. No-one else was hurt.
The crash happened near the Dundee and Angus College campus.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Wednesday November 4 officers received a report of a two-vehicle road crash, involving a van and a car, on Keptie Road, Arbroath.
“The 75-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. The road was closed for around two hours.”
