A car struck the central reservation on the A90 southbound at Brechin this morning.
The car ended up on its roof and blocked the road but a male driver was able to walk away from the accident with only minor injuries.
Scottish Fire and Rescue units from Brechin and Forfar attended the incident at the request of ambulance crews at the scene.
The crash happened shortly before 8.30am and caused significant delays.
The accident blocked the carriageway for a short time before one lane was reopened around 9am.
The carriageway was fully reopened around 10am when the vehicle was recovered.
