Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre showed off a replica World War One aircraft which is in the final stages of construction as part of the Festival of Museums event at the weekend.
The station is commemorating the Royal Flying Corps’ time at Montrose with the construction of the replica BE2 aircraft.
Curator Dan Paton said: “Work is progressing very well with our replica BE2 and we enjoyed welcoming visitors to the hanger where construction work is taking place.”
