With less than three weeks before the Festival of Heroes event in Arbroath brings the Red Arrows to the town, organisers have presented more of their local heroes awards.
Members of the lifeboat crew who have served for more than five years were presented with the accolades by Barbara Cargill, who recently retired from being president of Arbroath Ladies Lifeboat Guild after 15 years in the role.
Mrs Cargill was then given her own surprise ‘local hero’ award.
