Ruthven Music Festival is set to transform the tiny hamlet into the east of Scotland’s version of Glyndebourne.
For almost 30 years the event has attracted top class musicians and singers to two concerts of classical music in Ruthven Community Hall which is between Kirriemuir and Alyth.
The Friday evening concert on June 10 features Perth choir Chansons while Lorna Doyle, a 17-year-old cellist from Milnathort, is one of the young performers in the Sunday afternoon concert on June 12.
Tickets are £20 for each concert with under-14s free.
