There’s a green summer ahead for a volunteer group.
Gardening at Kellie Castle, repairing steps at Barry Mill and cutting vegetation at the House of Dun are on the agenda for the National Trust for Scotland’s Tayside Conservation volunteer group.
It has dozens of members who regularly donate their time and talent to projects but is always on the lookout for new members.
Conservation volunteer co-ordinator Julie Bond said the team made a massive contribution to the care of the trust’s 200,000 acres of countryside, estates and gardens.
Travel, accommodation and meals are all organised for volunteers and for more information on participating visit www.nts.org.uk/Volunteering/Outdoor.
