The accident happened on Tuesday on the A928 Petterden to Glamis Road near to Hatton of Ogilvy around 11.50am. The man was cut free from the wreckage by firefighters after the burgundy coloured Honda car collided with a wall and a tree. He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital after being treated at the scene by the trauma team and paramedics. The road was closed for approximately one hour to allow a full investigation into the circumstances. Tayside Division officers have now appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Police Scotland on 101.
