Angus Heritage Week 2016 will take place from September 2-9 and history buffs, family historians and anyone keen to find out more about the places, people and past of Angus are in for a treat.
The week begins with the annual Doors Open Days and the week will include exhibitions, children’s activities, craft demonstrations and a host of other events in the many museums, art galleries and visitor attractions throughout the county.
Events will also include the Kirriemuir Festival of Music and Song, a heritage day in Auchmithie, House of Dun guided tours and a Witch’s Walk in Forfar.
In addition, the Angus Archives will be holding five open days.
