A young woman who died in a car accident in Angus on Sunday night has been named by police.
Leanne McDonald, who was 21 and from Montrose, died after her car left the A937 near North Craigo at around 9.40pm on Sunday and hit a wall.
There were no passengers in the vehicle, police said.
Police say inquiries are continuing and they are appealing for any witnesses who saw Ms McDonald’s grey Citroen C3 before the crash.
As with all sudden deaths a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
