Raspy-voiced Canadian rock giant Bryan Adams took 12,000 fans on a trip down memory lane in Montrose on Sunday night.
Adams performed a selection of the biggest hits from his 13-album back catalogue including Run to You, Summer of 69, Heaven, Cuts Like a Knife and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.
Montrose East Links now joins the likes of Madison Square Garden, Wembley Stadium and the Giza pyramids in Egypt on the superstar’s impressive gigography.
Adams played his old six-string during the two-hour show which was a mix of plugged in and acoustic songs as part of his Get Up tour of the UK.
MoFest bosses have been responsible for bringing top musical acts to the town for almost a decade including Status Quo, Madness and Jools Holland.
Vice-chair Anne Jenkins said: “Nobody could even have fathomed this in their wildest dreams back in 2008 when MoFest started and it’s a perfect end to our ninth year.”
