A two-vehicle crash closed a section of the A90 just south of Stonehaven.
The accident happened around 12.30pm on the northbound side on Friday.
The crash involved a grey Honda CR-V and a white Mercedes Sprinter van.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Ambulance and police have attended.
“There were a number of people in the vehicles.”
All lanes were re-opened again around 2.15pm following vehicle recovery.
