Roller skating fans wheeled up to support the family of Angus toddler Blake McMillan in a weekend Forfar fundraiser.
The Forfar Indoor Sports event was the last chance for wheeled skaters to enjoy their fun before the ice is laid at the busy facility.
Denise Black organised the event to help the youngster’s family continue their effort to fund research into the rare MeCP2 Duplication Syndrome from which he suffers.
Blake and mum Jenny, from Carnoustie were at the Forfar roller disco, with the family having been given recent encouragement by a study which suggests the condition may be reversible.
The condition occurs almost exclusively in males and is characterised by moderate to severe intellectual disability.
Blake was diagnosed with the condition when he was just 20 days old and battled for his life earlier this year after being rushed to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh under police escort.
