Firefighters were called out to two incidents in Montrose on Saturday afternoon.
The first call was to Borrowfield Farm following a report of stubble on fire in a field around 1.55pm.
One appliance from Montrose and one from Brechin attended.
Two jets were used to extinguish the fire.
Around 3.25pm an appliance from Montrose extinguished branches and sticks on fire near the football pitches in the Borrowfield area.
