Officers from Scottish Fire and Rescue had to extract a woman from a car this morning after a road traffic collision in Forfar.
An elderly woman was involved in a collision on Arbroath Road in Forfar just after 9.50am on Thursday.
Two appliances attended the scene which involved one vehicle.
The woman was removed from the car and transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
