A vehicle overturned on the A90 near Stracathro in Angus on Monday morning.
One lane of the busy southbound dual carriageway was blocked while the vehicle was removed from the road.
The accident happened just before 7am and caused traffic disruption between the B974 and the B966.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “It is understood there was only one vehicle involved in the incident.
“Police were in attendance and inquiries are ongoing to establish how the vehicle ended up on its roof.”
The vehicle was removed from the road around 7.30am.
No one is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
