Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished a kitchen fire in Montrose on Friday.
The oven caught fire in a ground-floor flat in the town’s Seagate around 8.35pm.
Two appliances from Montrose were in attendance.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and made a safety check of the rest of the block.
No-one was hurt as a result of the incident.
