A motorist had a lucky escape when his car skidded on black ice and struck a wall in Angus this morning.
The accident happened on the A928 between Glamis and Kirriemuir around 9am near Bridge View House which is the home of Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club.
A police spokeswoman said the man was not injured as a result of the accident.
“The car skidded on black ice and struck a wall,” she said.
“The car itself doesn’t look too clever but that can be replaced.
“He was very lucky.”
